Arsenal hosted an in-form Liverpool side at the Emirates on Monday night, with the visitors going into the game unbeaten. Both teams had great chances to open the scoring, but in the end the game finished 0-0. Here are how the players rated:
Petr Cech: 7/10

It was certainly Cech’s best game in an Arsenal shirt. He pulled off a few crucial saves in the first half to keep Arsenal in the game and manage to keep a magnificent clean sheet. This performance will only give him more confidence going to the game against Newcastle next week.
Hector Bellerin: 5.5/10
An average performance from the young Spaniard in this match. He gave the ball away in crucial positions, luckily Arsenal were not punished.
Calum Chambers: 4.5/10
An abysmal first half performance from Chambers, as he consistently gave the ball away and was easily turned by Philippe Coutinho and Christian Benteke. Certainly a match to forget for the youngster.
Gabriel Paulista: 5.5/10
It was a difficult match for Gabriel to make his first start of the season in. Faced a difficult challenge from Benteke but handled it quite comfortably. He hardly put a foot wrong.
Nacho Monreal: 6.5/10

Another good performance from the Spaniard who seems to be thriving with confidence at the moment. Provided a threat for Arsenal going forward and looked very comfortable when in possession.
Francis Coquelin: 6.5/10
A much improved performance from Coquelin today and it needed to be. He proved crucial in protecting the back four and even made vital tackles in Arsenal’s box to secure Arsenal a clean sheet.
Santi Cazorla: 5/10
An unusually poor performance in the first half from Santi who consistently lost possession of the ball. Despite this, Cazorla did have a much improved second half.
Mesut Ozil: 6/10

A decent performance from Ozil tonight who worked very hard for the team and was involved in a lot of chances which Arsenal created.
Aaron Ramsey: 6.5/10
Another good performance from Ramsey tonight, who wrongly had a goal disallowed early in the first half.
Alexis Sanchez: 5.5/10
An average performance from Alexis tonight. Created a lot of chances but was caught in possession far too frequently.
Olivier Giroud: 5/10

A disappointing performance from Giroud today, who failed to get involved with the play quite a lot in the game and squandered a couple of good chances.
Substitutes:
Theo Walcott: 5/10
Theo was fairly quiet when introduced and will be eager to see if he gets a starting place next week.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain: 5.5/10
The England international was a real bright spark for Arsenal when he came on and almost scored a great goal from outside of the box late in the second half.
