Rangers’ bid to sign Gedion Zelalem on loan from Arsenal for the next few months could be in jeopardy, as the Daily Record report he could soon have three offers from the Sky Bet Championship to mull over, as he tries to ensure he gets more game-time to ensure consistent development this season.
Zelalem had looked close to completing a move to Scotland’s second city this week after it was revealed he was already in Glasgow to discuss a move to Rangers, where he would become the 11th signing of the summer, as the Scottish giants try to earn promotion back to the top-tier after a few years away, during which time they’ve had to work their way back up from the fourth level.

However, he could also have offers from Fulham, Charlton Athletic and Birmingham City, all in England’s second flight. The former two would allow him to stay in London, where he plies his trade with Arsenal, and continuing to play in English football could prove more attractive to the German-born USA national.
The 18-year-old is yet to make his league debut for Arsene Wenger’s team, but did appear once in the UEFA Champions League a couple of seasons ago. He also has 5 caps for the United States under-20 team.
