Arsenal and Puma have today released the 2015/16 away kit, which was unveiled in fantastic fashion, as fans have become used to.
An audience at the kit launch in Singapore sang iconic Arsenal songs as a projection video transformed a giant 3D upper body into the new 2015/16 away kit.
As the projection faded out; Mikel Arteta, Hector Bellerin, Santi Cazorla, Petr Cech, Mathieu Flamini, Olivier Giroud, Mesut Ozil, Wojciech Szczesny, Jack Wilshere and Gabriel were all stood wearing the brand new away kit, which is gold and features a diamond look on both the front and back of the shirt.
A couple of players also spoke at the event, with Olivier Giroud saying: “The event was great and I was really happy to meet some of our fans from Singapore and around Asia. It’s really inspiring to see how passionate and supportive our fans are here.
“The atmosphere tonight was electric and it was a brilliant experience. I really like our new away kit – the gold colour is very striking and has been associated with some great Arsenal teams in the past. I’m looking forward to playing in it for the first time against the Singapore Select XI.”
Club captain Mikel Arteta went on to say: “We arrived in Singapore on Monday morning and from the moment we touched down the fans here have been fantastic. Hearing them chant for us and feeling the amazing atmosphere from the crowd was great, it definitely motivates us to perform at our best here.
“I really enjoyed the event and the opportunity to show off our new away kit. It’s a great looking shirt and I like the design which is quite different to the more traditional home shirt.”
