# Lampard: Cech to make Arsenal title contenders

Chelsea and England legend Frank Lampard believes that Arsenal’s signing of goalkeeper Petr Cech will give them a fighting chance in the Premier League title race.

The 37-year-old, who spent ten years at Stamford Bridge alongside the Czech ‘keeper, winning three Premier League titles, four FA Cups, three League Cups, a Europa League and a UEFA Champions League trophy together, states that Cech will ‘make a difference’ for the Gunners.

*“Cech is a world-class keeper and person and can help push Arsenal into the running next season,”* Lampard said.

*“They are always challenging before falling just short but Cech going there, as John Terry said recently, will save them points.*

*“Manchester City and Chelsea will be challenging for the title once again. They remain favourites but Petr will make a difference.”*
