Arsenal have today confirmed the squad that will be taken to Singapore as part of the club’s pre-season tour. A number of stars will be taken on the trip, but a noticeable absentee is Carl Jenkinson, who looks set to move on loan to West Ham for another season.
The squad includes new club signings Petr Cech and Jeff Reine-Adelaide, who recently joined the club from French side Lens. Alexis Sanchez and David Ospina will not join the club on tour as both rest after Copa America duties, while both Danny Welbeck and Tomas Rosicky have slight injuries, meaning no risk will be taken with the two.
Serge Gnabry is also unavailable after featuring for Germany at the u21 European Championships, but Calum Chambers has decided to cut his holiday short and join the squad on tour.
