Arturo Vidal has been linked with Arsenal all summer. Reports in AS Chile suggest Arsenal are in the driving seat for his signature and despite the ‘foreign radio reports’ turning out to be a hoax, there seems to be some genuine interest from the club. Whether that ‘interest’ will turn into another world class signing for Arsenal remains to be seen.
Vidal has been on the European scene for a number of years but rose to superstardom after he shone at the 2014 World Cup for Chile – leading the team with Alexis Sanchez – and starred in Juventus’ impressive run to the UEFA Champions League final this season against Barcelona.
