The Express are reporting that Brazilian forward Luiz Adriano can leave Shakhtar Donetsk for a cut price.
David Price says that he could leave for just £5.5 million alerting Arsenal to his services with Wenger saying earlier this summer he would not spend enormous amounts of money this summer like he has with Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.
Adriano is apparently a wanted man this summer with 21 goals in all competitions this season in 33 games. 9 of those goals came in the Champions League proving the European quality he has although it must be mentioned 5 of those goals came in a Group H game against BATE Borisov that Shakhtar won 7-0 with another 3 coming in the reserve fixture.
He has shown consistency with the season before providing 25 goals in all competitions, netting 3 times in Europe with Champions League and Europa League added together.
The fear Shakhtar have is that the striker will be available on a free transfer and the Ukrainian club cannot afford to lose a big asset for nothing especially at 28 years old where research suggests he will be in the prime of his career.
His availability has also reportedly alerted AC Milan who are after three strikers this summer and also Liverpool have been linked.
