# Henry: Ozil can control a game

Arsenal legend and top scorer of all-time Thierry Henry has been full of praise for a number of Arsenal stars recently, and on this occasion has been talking up the magestic Arsenal number 11 Mesut Ozil.

Ozil’s second season at the Emirates Stadium was much interrupted by injury, but the German still managed to score on five occasions and bag nine assists for his teammates.

Henry, 37, believes that players with the calibre of Ozil and Sanchez have the ability to help the Gunners sustain a title challenge: *“Mesut is a very good player, we all know about his quality, we all know about what he has done in the game,”* he told[Arsenal Player](https://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/20150622/henry-ozil-is-so-difficult-to-stop). *“He is a world champion, you have to respect that and his vision on the pitch is tremendous.*

*“He is an amazing player. When he is on song like he was in the FA Cup final, he is difficult to stop.*

*“When you have the likes of Giroud in the box, Alexis Sanchez running at people and Theo too, Mesut can see a pass and control the game in the same way that Santi does.”*

Henry continued to talk up the talent at Arsenal and said that if Arsene Wenger’s men can retain a high level of consistency throughout the season, a title challenge is realistic: *“I keep on mentioning players, all that we are waiting on is the consistency in the league*.

*“I saw some of the players talking about that consistency, and I know they have the quality to do it.”*
