Arsenal charged over Chambers move

Arsenal have today been charged for breaching the FA’s Football Agents Regulations over the transfer of Calum Chambers.

The Gunners signed the 20-year-old from Southampton in July 2014 for a reported £16m plus add-ons.

Since making the switch to London, Chambers has won the Community Shield and the FA Cup. He also earned his first call-up to the England squad.

The player’s agent, Alan Middleton, has been charged by the FA for breaking the regulations over the full-back’s transfer.

Alan Middleton has until 17th June 2015 to respond to the charge.

Arsenal have until the 26th June to respond to the charge after asking for some more time to mull it over.
