# Podolski: I would consider Turkey

Amid reports that Galatasaray are interesting in bringing Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski to Turkey, the player himself has claimed that he would consider a move to Turkey if the opportunity arose.

Podolski, who was sent out on loan to Italian giants Inter Milan last season has been out of favour at the Emirates for a while and is expected to leave the club this summer, with a number of interested parties including the Turkish side.

30 year-old Podolski said while speaking to NTV Sport: “*If an offer comes from Turkey, I will sit down and talk about it with my family and girlfriend.*

*“If I find the right club, the right coach, the right environment, I will evaluate it.*

*“If these conditions are met, I think everything is possible.*

*“The next transfer could be my last, so I have to take a well-thought step.”*

Despite Podolski claiming that a move to Turkey may be possible, Galatasaray head coach Hamza Hamzaoğlu claimed that Podolski is not currently being targeted by the club: “*Podolski is not on our radar right now, he was in the winter but not right now.”*

Podolski’s Arsenal teammate Joel Campbell is also [widely expected](https://readarsenal.com/2015/06/11/campbell-to-fenerbahce-agreed/) to depart North London this summer for Turkey, with Fenerbahce the possible destination.
