Jack Wilshere has been charged with misconduct with events relating to celebration on Sunday 31st May.
Arsenal’s number 10 has been an Arsenal fan since he joined the club at the age of 9 and his emotions clearly got the better of him on this occasion.
His abuse towards Tottenham on Arsenal’s victory parade around north London signalled action to be taken after many Spurs fans were upset with Wilshere’s remarks about their club.
The FA believe that Wilshere’s anti-Spurs chant has brought the game ‘into disrepute’.
23 year-old Wilshere has until 6pm on June 10th to respond to his charge.
