After years of Arsene Wenger sticking by him, the time has come for Abou Diaby to finally leave north London.
Reports have suggested that Arsenal’s French midfielder is to be released by Arsenal after failing to convince Wenger of his worth, following a series of torrid injury issues.

Diaby has been limited to only 121 appearances in the Premier League since signing for the Gunners nine years ago, a number that could have been far greater had relentless injuries not stood in the way.
As confirmed by Jeremy Wilson, the Arsenal boss will listen to offers for Inter Milan loanee Lukas Podolski and ex-France international Mathieu Flamini.
Lukas Podolski fell out of favour within the Arsenal squad and in January made the move to Inter in search of first team football, while 31 year-old Flamini has had to settle for a place on the bench since the emergence of fellow countryman Francis Coquelin in the side.
