Arsenal boss Arsène Wenger doesn’t seem to be ready for retirement and has questioned how Sir Alex Ferguson fills his time.
The Frenchman took control of Arsenal in 1996 and has since managed the club to three Premier League titles, one of which was conquered without losing a single match. Wenger has also lead his team to five FA Cups, while ensuring Arsenal have qualified for every Champions League campaign since the 1997/1998 season.
Ferguson, meanwhile, spent 26 years at Old Trafford before stepping down in 2013. The Scotsman won 38 trophies, including 13 Premier League and two UEFA Champions League titles.
Despite managing Arsenal for nearly 20 years, 65 year-old Wenger will not be joining Ferguson in retirement just yet.
“Sometimes I think, what is he (Sir Alex Ferguson) doing all day.
“But he looks very happy in his retirement.
“He is lucky because he is interested in horses as well. When he gets up in the morning, he can go to horses, practice or training.”
Wenger, who grew up in the Alsace region of France near Strasbourg, added: “I love horses as well but I don’t go to races. I like horses in general because I am a farmer.
“I rode them when I was a kid but now? No, my back could not take any riding.”
