Arsenal play on Monday night in the Premier League for the second week in a row, on this occasion at the Emirates Stadium against travellers Swansea.
Arsene Wenger has overseen the Gunners’ unbelievable form since the turn of the year, continuing at the KC Stadium with a fantastic 3-1 victory and you can find our learnings from the game here.
Arsenal will be looking to end the season strongly, with a win ensuring the club move level on points with second-placed Manchester City who defeated QPR convincingly 6-0 on Sunday. The north Londoners have two games in hand over City and will hope to make the visit of Swansea an uncomfortable one for the Welsh side.
Swansea have had a good season under Garry Monk who has proven himself to be a more than capable Premier League Manager as his side sit eighth in the league, four points behind Spurs with a game in hand and the Welsh side visit the Emirates on the back of two consecutive victories.
Former Arsenal player Lukasz Fabianski will start for the Swans on his return to the Emirates.
Team news
Arsenal are without a number of players including Danny Welbeck, who Wenger confirmed would appear again before the end of the season, while Mathieu Debuchy, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Mikel Arteta all miss out.
Aaron Ramsey is 50-50 for the game after taking a knock in the win away at Hull.
Swansea also have a number of injuries, with the likes of Tom Carroll, Kyle Naugthon, Wayne Routledge and Jordi Amat all definitely out.
Swansea may have to start with Marvin Emnes up front, as Bafetimbi Gomis and fellow striker Nelson Oliveira both remain doubtful.
Probable lineups
Arsenal (4-2-3-1) Ospina; Bellerin, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal; Coquelin, Cazorla; Walcott, Ozil, Sanchez; Giroud
Swansea (4-3-3) Fabianski; Rangel, Fernandez, Williams, Taylor; Ki, Cork, Shelvey; Sigurdsson, Emnes, Montero.
Prediction
Swansea are a tough side to face as Arsenal found out earlier in the season, Jefferson Montero giving Calum Chambers nightmares after their battle at the Liberty Stadium, but should Montero start he will be up against the much pacier and defensively assured Hector Bellerin.
Arsenal should comfortably win this game and after seeing Manuel Pellegrini’s side win 6-0 on Sunday, motivation will certainly not come into question.
The Gunners to go out and win this one 2-0, with fan favourite Mesut Ozil grabbing a goal!
