Yaya Toure has potentially opened a bidding war between a number of top clubs after stating that he may interested in a new challenge.
“No amount of wages will make me stay at a club if I feel that I no longer belong there or if no challenge exists for me” he said.
The Ivorian star continued, claim that he is uncertain of what will happen in the future.
“For the future, I don’t know more than you do because I always go where I am offered new challenges,” Toure said. “That is in my nature.”
According to the Daily Star, Arsenal are one of the clubs that are interested in Yaya Toure’s services, with the midfielder less effective this season for his current side Manchester City.
However, Toure’s reported £200,000-a-week wages may be an obstacle for the Gunners if he is unwilling to compromise.
