Arsene Wenger and Olivier Giroud were rewarded for their part in Arsenal’s sparkling March form as they scooped the Barclays Manager of the Month and Barclays Player of the Month respectively.
Wenger lead his side to victory in all four of their league games last month, with a 2-0 win over Everton on March 1st, a hard fought 2-1 over QPR at Loftus Road on the 4th, a 3-0 romp over West Ham on the 14th followed finally by a tough 2-1 against Newcastle on the 21st.
It’s the 14th time the boss has won the award.
Giroud meanwhile was the form man in the team last month, scoring five times in those four games. The Frenchman netted a brace at St James Park adding to goals against Everton, West Ham and QPR.
Arsenal host Liverpool at The Emirates on Saturday hoping to consolidate their top four position.
