Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla is being linked with a move to La Liga side Villarreal this summer.
According to claims from Spanish newspaper AS, as cited in a report from Calciomercato, the experienced midfielder is being eyed by Villarreal as they look to add more quality to their midfield.
Cazorla’s injury woes over the last couple of years have been well documented, but it seems the former Malaga star is making good progress in his bid to return to full fitness.

The 33-year-old returned to full first-team training with the Arsenal squad last week and is seemingly stepping up his efforts to return to regular action next season.
However, whether he will be playing his trade at Arsenal or not remains to be seen, with Villarreal being linked with a fresh swoop for Cazorla.
The midfielder’s contract at the Emirates Stadium reaches its expiration at the end of the season and Arsenal are said to be still considering whether or not they should offer the player a new deal at the club.
