Arsenal have made Massimiliano Allegri their top target to replace Arsene Wenger as the club’s new manager this summer, according to the Independent.
The Italian boss is set to sit down with Juventus chiefs at the end of the season to discuss his plans for the future, as Arsenal prepare to step up their interest in appointing him.
Arsenal will head into next season with a new manager for the first time in 22 years, as Wenger bids farewell to the Gunners after a historic reign in charge.

Allegri has been a massively impressive figurehead at Juventus during his reign and looks likely to lead his side to yet another triumph in Serie A this season, retaining the title once again.
However, Allegri is understood to be keen on exploring his options ahead of the 2018/19 campaign, with Arsenal now eyeing an ambitious swoop to recruit him as their new first-team manager.
