Zeljko Buvac is the man who Arsenal’s Head of Recruitment, Sven Mislintat, wants to replace Arsene Wenger at the Gunners, according to Sky Sports.
Arsenal reportedly want to appoint a manager as soon as the season finishe and Mislintat, who used to be at Dortmund with Buvac, has made it clear that the Liverpool assistant is the man he wants to replace the Frenchman.

Mislintat has proposed a plan, which involves a relationship betwenn himself, Buvac as the head coach and Raul Sanllehi as Arsenal’s head of relations. He believes it is the best way to develop a successful long-term strategy for the Gunners.
It was reported earlier in the week, by the Bosnian newspaper Pravda BL, that Buvac is on the verge of taking over at the Emirates.
Buvac left Liverpool temporarily and the club said it was due to “personal reasons” and Liverpool remain adamant that he will return to his role at Anfield in the summer.

Jurgen Klopp calls Buvac “The brain”, and he has praised him regularly for the massive impact he has upon players that he coaches. Klopp and Buvac first worked together 17 years ago when they were at Mainz, Klopp once said the Bosnian was “the best signing he’s ever made”.
Arsenal have made no comment yet as to who they will be looking to bring in, but Buvac seems to be in the running to take over from Wenger.
