Arsenal should look no further than Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers to replace Arsene Wenger this summer, according to Paul Merson.
The pundit and former Gunners player, who was speaking on Sky Sports, says that Rodgers should be the man given the chance to succeed the Frenchman at the Emirates.
I would like Rodgers to succeed Arsene. I like him, the way he plays football. Liverpool nearly won the league under him which they hadn’t done for some time before and haven’t since.
People say he had Luis Suarez but you’ve still got to get a tune out of him. He’s got experience of managing big sides as well. There’s a lot of pressure at Celtic and he knows the Premier League well.

Rodgers has been linked with both Arsenal and Chelsea following his success with Celtic in Scotland.
Back-to-back trebles are on the cards for the Hoops after they beat rivals Rangers 5-0 to secure a seventh successive Scottish Premiership title.
It was Rodgers who came close to guiding Liverpool to the Premier League title during his time in the Premier League.
The former Liverpool and Swansea boss has been hailed for his record with younger players, something that may be in his favour with Arsenal looking to enter a new era at the club.
