A much-changed Arsenal side put in a spirited performance but were consigned to a defeat late on as Manchester United claimed a 2-1 victory at Old Trafford.

Paul Pogba gave United an early lead in the opening half after good work down the right from Romelu Lukaku, before the returning Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored to level the game.
Second-half substitute Marouane Fellaini made the all-important difference, scoring the winner in added time after a brilliant cross from Ashley Young.
