Not only is Sir Mo Farah one of the most decorated athletes in the history of British sport, he’s also a big Arsenal fan and, like all supporters of the Gunners, he too has an opinion on who should replace Arsene Wenger this summer.
The Frenchman has announced that he will be stepping down as manager this summer, ending a managerial run that has spanned over two decades and already, attention is turning towards the conversation regarding who will replace him.
Farah, as per the Independent, says that former Arsenal captain, now New York FC manager Patrick Vieira should be the man to take his place in the Emirates hot seat.

With Wenger leaving, the possible candidates have flooded in. Along with Vieira, both Max Allegri and Brendan Rodgers have been touted. There’s also outside options such as Carlo Ancelotti and Diego Simeone who remain possibilities, albeit long shots.
What’s certain is that the club will want to agree and announce his successor as soon as possible, so they can begin the tough task of succeeding a club legend as soon as the season ends.
