Outgoing Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reportedly been offered an eye-watering bumper contract to make the switch to the Chinese Super League this summer.
The Frenchman will leave the Emirates at the end of the season after a 22-year stay in North London and it’s safe to say that he will not be short of potential suitors for his next management role in football.
According to a report from the Mirror, Wenger could become the best-paid manager in the world if he does indeed opt to move to the Far East this summer.

It’s stated that Wenger could potentially earn in excess of £24 million-per-year if he does indeed opt to take up the role at the unnamed Chinese Super League club – a salary which would exceed what Marcello Lippi earns as China’s national team manager.
Wenger is set to have plenty of options this summer but the financial appeal of China could well be too difficult to refuse.
