PSG have joined Arsenal in the race to sign Max Meyer according to Le Parisien, as reported by talkSPORT.
The player is currently at Schalke but his contract is set to come to an end in the summer when he will be allowed to leave the club.
He has been linked with a number of other clubs throughout the continent, including Liverpool.

French side, PSG are looking for a central midfielder and have identified the player as a top target, it seems. The attraction is that he would be available for free rather than having to pay an up front cost like normal.
Arsenal are set to be under new management following the announcement by Arsene Wenger that he will leave at the end of the season, meaning that they will be looking for players to help them reach further heights next term.
PSG are under pressure due to the Financial Fair Play ruling and therefore signing Meyer for free is seemingly an appealing proposition.
