Arsenal have reportedly identified Luis Enrique as their first choice to replace Arsene Wenger as the club’s new manager this summer.
According to claims from French news outlet Telefoot, the Gunners have made plans to replace Wenger already and Enrique tops their list of potential replacements.
It was revealed on Friday that Wenger will be stepping down from his responsibilities as the Arsenal manager, paving the way for a fresh start at the Emirates next season.

Enrique has been out of work since his dismissal from Barcelona at the end of last season and has been heavily linked with a move to Premier League clubs.
Chelsea have been touted as a potential destination for Enrique, as Antonio Conte’s future continues to come under intense scrutiny ahead of the summer.
However, it seems they will face competition from Arsenal for Enrique’s services, as they continue to pursue Wenger’s successor in good time before the summer comes around.
