Real Madrid captain tells club to sell Benzema to Arsenal
Arsenal have for some time now been linked with a move for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema but nothing has ever materialised.
However a deal for the forward to join the Gunners could be on the cards this summer, according to the Express.
In the last two transfer windows, the Gunners have brought in strikers Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang which suggests that they won’t be looking to bolster this area of the pitch.
But reports have suggested the club are interested in a move for the Madrid forward this summer, with Real captain Sergio Ramos reportedly telling Florentino Perez to sell the Frenchman this summer.
The club are one of a number of clubs keen on bringing the player in and it’s thought that the club are set to launch a £34 million offer to tempt the Frenchman to the Emirates.
However his is someway below the price-tag which Real would be willing to accept and could be a potential problem.
Benzema is thought to be open to a move to the Premier League.
