Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa is a serious doubt ahead of their Europa League clash against Arsenal next week, Football London reports.
The Spain international has been struggling with a hamstring injury in recent weeks and has been sidelined. Diego Simeone hoped to have him available for his side’s clash with Levante at the weekend but he was not fit enough to feature.
Atletico won 3-0 against their La Liga counterparts but were forced to do so without Costa’s presence, further plunging his chances of playing against Arsenal into doubt.

Costa will also be sidelined for Atletico’s clash with Real Sociedad this Thursday, with the ex-Chelsea man unlikely to even make the matchday squad.
This news is sure to come as a big boost for Arsenal as they gain to obtain the upper hand in their Europa League semi-final clash against Simeone and his side.
Costa has plenty of experience in coming up against Arsenal from his ventures at Chelsea and will be desperately trying to return in time for the fixture.
