Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour has admitted that he can see there being more empty seats at the Emirates as the Gunners look to get back into the Champions League, as reported by the Evening Standard.
Low attendances have been common at the Emirates this season with a staggeringly low total of just 44,064 watching the club’s EFL Cup win over Doncaster Rovers earlier on in the campaign.
Just 30,000 went through the gates for the Europa League tie with BATE Borisov earlier in the season, with fans put off by the poor performances on the pitch.

The club have still got a lot to play for with Burnley hot on their heels, just two points behind them and ready to pounce if the Gunners make a mistake.
The two sides are due to face each other after the Gunners’ Europa League tie with Atletico Madrid in a match which will have a huge baring on who finishes 6th in the Premier League this season.
Parlour has had his say on the current fan situation:
I’m sure there’ll be more empty seats at the Emirates towards the end of the season, and maybe they can take advantage of that.
