According to the ESPN’s Stefan Buczko, Arsenal Head of Recruitment Sven Mislintat watched from the stands as Schalke beat Borussia Dortmund 2-0.

Mislintat attending this game has led many rumours as to who Arsenal are looking to sign in the summer transfer window.
In the previous transfer window, they signed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund, as well as Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Manchester United, who used to play for Dortmund, so they are familiar with what sort of players could be signed from the Bundesliga. Sead Kolasinac also signed from the opposition, Schalke.
However, Mislintat is a Dortmund fan, so all rumours could all be untrue!
FroHe could’ve been looking at Schalke goalkeeper Ralf Fahrmann as Arsenal look to replace Cech, or maybe former Spurs player, Nabil Bentaleb, as they look to improve on Granit Xhaka, who has come in for a lot of criticism recently.
From Dortmund, he could’ve been looking at the other goalkeeper in Roman Burki, as well as Sokratis Papastathopoulos, as the Gunners look for defensive reinforcements.
Marco Reus has been linked to the Gunners in the past too.
