Arsenal target Jonny Evans is set to snub a move to the club in order to sign for Manchester City.
According to The Mirror, Evans is not interested in signing for Arsenal if he leaves West Brom in the summer.
West Brom look set for relegation to the Championship, with their drop to the second tier expecting to be official in the next few weeks.
Due to a clause in his current contract, relegation would activate his release clause. He will be allowed to leave for £3m, which has sparked interest from Arsenal.
The report claims that he is holding out on a move to Manchester City, although it does not state whether or not Manchester City remain keen on the defender.
Arsenal had an offer for Evans turned down in the January window by West Brom, who now look set to lose their captain for significantly less than what Arsenal offered.
