Jack Wilshere should have been sent off after a fiery end to their encounter at the Emirates, according to Southampton boss Mark Hughes.
Jack Stephens saw red for an off-the-ball incident after Wilshere was grabbing his shirt when trying to join an attack.
Mohamed Elneny also saw red in the final moments of the game when he appeared to push Southampton full-back Cedric Soares towards the end of the game as things heated up.

Replays showed that Wilshere tried to knee Stephens following the incident and was lucky to escape with just a yellow.
The England international was only introduced in the last 20 minutes but he should have seen red for his actions, which would have made for a tense finish with the Gunners down to nine men.
Hughes spoke about the situation surrounding Wilshere in his post-match press conference, as reported by the Independent.
I think there should have been another [red card], I think Wilshere should have been sent off. Jack Stephens has obviously reacted to being pulled back for about 20 yards, which is not correct, but is understandable.
But I felt, if you’re going to send Jack [Stephens] off, you have to send Wilshere off for bouncing up. I thought I saw a definite movement with his knee towards Jack, so the referee should have seen that.
