Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette feels that he can play alongside club-record signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang despite Arsene Wenger wanting to play one up top, according to the Mirror.
The Frenchman has returned to the team in recent weeks and has netted three goals in his last two appearances for the club.
Thursday night’s 4-1 win over CSKA Moscow in the Europa League was the 26-year-olds first start in two months after being sidelined with a knee injury.

Before getting injured, Lacazette had scored just one goal in 13 matches for the club.
Aubameyang, however, has taken the league by storm, netting five goals in his first seven starts.
Now both strikers are fit and available, it hands Wenger a tough selection headache for the remainder of the season. Although, Aubameyang is unable to feature in the Europa League due to being cup tied.

Lacazette has had his say on his potential partnership with Aubameyang ahead of the run-in:
He is different player, he loves the space and I’m a player who loves to get the ball to my feet. Auba is a nice guy. I think we can be good together. After the first penalty against Stoke he told me, ‘If there is another one I will give you the ball’ so it was nice from him.
It was good for my confidence. It shows that, even if we are strikers, we can think about everyone in the team and we are not focused only to score goals.
