Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that he is unsure on whether returning forward Alexandre Lacazette will start in his side’s crucial Europa League tie against CSKA Moscow on Thursday night, as reported by the Standard.
The Frenchman returned to the team, making a 30-minute cameo as the Gunners won 3-0 against Stoke City in the Premier League. Lacazette netted a late penalty on his return.
He has missed nearly two months of action and his manager is keen for him to be eased back into the fold, with the World Cup at the end of the season still in his mind.

Despite Wenger having some concerns, he may have no choice but to play the 26-year-old on Thursday night as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is ineligible for the tie and Danny Welbeck came off with a back injury yesterday.
The Gunners boss spoke about the situation regarding the Frenchman following yesterday’s encounter at the Emirates Stadium:
Lacazette’s still lacking a bit of competitive edge. He’s been out for two months, he worked hard but he still lacks a fraction maybe.
In training he looks sharp. How long can he last in the game? I don’t know. He certainly needs one or two more games. Will he start on Thursday? I don’t know, I will have to wait a little bit.
