Arsenal midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been crowned Armenian player of the year for 2017.
Confirmed through the club’s website, it is the seventh year in succession that he has picked up the award.
Mkhitaryan is the captain of Armenia and has 25 goals in 70 appearances for his country – making him their all-time top goalscorer.
The winger joined Arsenal in January in a deal which saw Alexis Sanchez move to Manchester United.
Since his arrival, Mkhitaryan has registered one goal and four assists in five Premier League starts for Arsenal.

He also netted against AC Milan in the Europa League for Arsenal, scoring a deflected strike in the first-leg before their eventual progression.
The 29-year-old will be hoping he can add a Europa League trophy to his collection this season, along with his player of the year award.
Arsenal’s next match is at home to Stoke a week on Sunday.
