Arsenal target Emil Forsberg was unhappy after RB Leipzig rejected an offer for him from the Gunners last summer, and he’s expected to push for a transfer when the current season ends.
German journalist Raphael Honigstein, speaking on The Totally Football Show, said that the Swedish star is keen to play in the Premier League.
He said:
Emil Forsberg has rieen in and out of the (RB Leipzig) team with injuries, and they’ve really missed him a lot. He is still a guy who really wants to go to the Premier League. He was very upset when Arsenal’s offer was turned down straight away by Leipzig. I think that sort of team will come back in for him because he has got a lot of talent.

The arrival of Henrikh Mkhitaryan in January gave Arsenal a high quality player to play from the left, but the addition of Forsberg on the left could give the Gunners some real balance, allowing Mesut Oil to play predominantly in a central role.
Forsberg has admitted that he is happy at Leipzig but his ultimate aim is to play in England and he is hoping that the Bundesliga side don’t stand in his way if the chance to move to Arsenal presents itself.
