Everton are happy to pay Jack Wilshere a £8 million signing-on fee this summer as they look to complete a deal for the Arsenal midfielder this summer, according to the Times.
Wilshere will be able to leave the Gunners for nothing at the end of the season after failing to agree on fresh terms at the Emirates.
The midfielder would reportedly prefer to stay at the club this summer but the two parties are still thought to be some way off agreeing on a new deal for the player.

The club have offered Wilshere a deal but it would result in him taking a significant wage cut and with the possibility of a bigger contract available elsewhere, he may consider a move away from the Gunners.
Everton are looking to rebuild their midfield after another season which they have struggled to find a consistent personnel in the middle of the park.
