Lionel Messi advises Chelsea and Man Utd target to strongly consider Arsenal move

Ousmane Dembele appears to be under increasing pressure to finalise a move away from Barcelona in the summer after an uninspired debut season at the Nou Camp.

After arriving in a deal worth a potential £110m, Dembele suffered a major hamstring injury which sidelined him for several months, presenting a major road bump in his progression at the club.

Limited to just 12 appearances without scoring so far, the club and fans alike are losing faith with the France international as rumours suggesting he could be leaving the club continue to pick up pace.

Reports surfaced last week that Dembele was ready to complete a summer move to Arsenal if Barcelona pressed ahead with a reported move for Antoine Griezmann.

Spanish source Diario Gol say that the 20-year-old is still considering the Gunners as a potential destination as he no longer has the backing or support of the likes of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and other key figures at the Nou Camp, with Messi especially advising Dembele to remain open to a move to the Emirates.

Dembele struck up an excellent partnership with new Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at Borussia Dortmund last season and the Gunners are said to be keen on reuniting the duo.

Dembele is even said to be willing to leave on loan in order to prove himself, with Chelsea named as a potential destination for the attacker, but both Manchester United and Atletico Madrid are also said to be interested in him if he becomes available.
