Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has apologised to the club’s supporters following the club’s 2-1 defeat at Brighton on Sunday.
As per the Daily Mail, Wilshere apologised via social media following the club’s fourth consecutive defeat in all competitions.
I’m sorry to the gooners out there. You deserve better. Thats [sic] all I have to say. I know its difficult at the moment in this difficult period we are going through as a team but we need you. We will do better but please stick with us.

Brighton took an early lead on Sunday through Lewis Dunk, with the Gunners unable to defend from set pieces.
Glenn Murray doubled Brighton’s lead with a powerful header that got the better of Petr Cech, with many feeling Shkodran Mustafi could have done more to defend the situation.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang halved the deficit later in the first half with his second Arsenal goal in five games, but that was not enough for the Gunners.
Arsenal now face a second successive season outside of the Champions League, unless they go on to win the Europa League in order to qualify for the competition.
Arsenal travel to Milan on Thursday in the Europa League in what looks to be a season-defining tie.
