Arsenal are reportedly still keeping tabs on Southampton midfielder Mario Lemina.
It was claimed in the summer that Arsene Wenger rejected recommendations from Arsenal’s scouts regarding a potential move for Lemina. The Gabonese international proceeded to sign for Southampton from Juventus and has been impressive since his arrival in England.
Lemina has been a bright spark in what has been a hugely uninspiring season for Southampton. He has demonstrated his quality in the middle and appears to have attracted the attention of top clubs in the Premier League.

It is, in fact, claimed by French news outlet L’Equipe that Liverpool are hot on the trail of Lemina. However, Arsenal are claimed to still be holding out hope that they can secure his signature.
Southampton are in serious danger of being relegated to the Championship this season and if this does happen, Lemina is likely to be on the move.
However if the Saints do drop down, competition will be fierce for Lemina.
