Malcom will leave Bordeaux “sooner or later”
According to the Evening Standard, Bordeaux manager Gus Poyet has said that Brazilian starlet Malcom will leave “sooner or later” with both Arsenal and Tottenham heavily linked with the player.
Malcom is one of the most promising players in Europe right now, with the Brazilian winger putting in several impressive performances in Ligue 1 this season, which has caught the eye of several clubs.
Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are set to fight over Malcom, who shows similarities to another Brazilian winger, who has drawn similarities to his fellow countryman and recent Spurs signing, Lucas Moura.
Poyet, who recently took charge at Bordeaux has been discussing his side’s chances of keeping the player.
He is a special player who can win matches on his own, He is often double-marked because his talent is that special, and in January we were nervous because we almost lost him to the Premier League. We must prepare for this because sooner or later he will leave.
Malcom joined Bordeaux from his boyhood club Corinthians at the end of the 2016 January transfer window, and the winger has played 85 times for the French side since, scoring 19 times and grabbing 15 assists.
