Gunners confirm big-money deal to extend sponsorship deal
Arsenal have confirmed that the club has completed a deal to extend their sponsorship agreement with Fly Emirates.
As reported by the London Evening Standard, the deal between the two parties will now run until the end of the 2023-24 season, making it the longest running agreement in the Premier League.
The deal is the biggest in the club’s history, something chief executive Ivan Gazidis hopes will close the gap between themselves and the remaining Premier League ‘big boys’.
Our shirt partnership is the longest running in the Premier League and one of the longest relationships in world sport.
Emirates are again demonstrating their great belief in our approach and ambition and their significantly increased investment will help us continue to compete for trophies and bring more success to the club and our fans around the world.
The new deal will pocket Arsenal around £200 million over the course of the five years and follows reports that the club will consider a sleeve sponsor for the first time next season.
Fly Emirates have been sponsoring the club since 2006, replacing O2 as the previous sponsor.
By the end of the new deal Fly Emirates will have been front and centre on the Gunners’ kits for 18 years.
