Ornstein claims that Mkhitaryan will undergo a medical with Arsenal in the next two days, before officially completing his move to Arsenal.
The deal will see Alexis Sanchez go the other way, joining Manchester United in a much-anticipated move for the Chilean.
The report claims that the deal is a straight swap, with no money going either way for the players. It means that Arsenal get a replacement for Sanchez immedietely, and do not have to worry about signing a replacement before the end of the window.
Mkhitaryan could sign in time to make his debut against Chelsea in the second-leg of the League Cup semi-final next Wednesday night.
