Arsenal monitoring Aubameyang
Arsenal are monitoring Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ahead of a potential move this month.
According to The Mirror, Arsenal are interested in Aubameyang as they look to bolster their attacking options.
Alexis Sanchez is set to sign for Manchester United in the coming days, leaving a massive gap in Arsenal’s forward line.
Arsene Wenger is looking to plug that gap as quickly as possible and is eyeing Aubameyang as a potential target.
Arsenal are also thought to be closing in on the signings of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Malcom from Manchester United and Bordeaux respectively.
Aubameyang has been in trouble recently, having been suspended by Dortmund for missing a team meeting.
The report also claims that the Gabon international would cost Arsenal £53m, which would be the second most expensive transfer in Arsenal’s history – behind Alexandre Lacazette.
The striker has scored 13 goals for Dortmund in the Bundesliga this season.
