Arsenal agree deal to sign Steven N’Zonzi
Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign Sevilla midfielder Steven N’Zonzi, according to reports in Spain.
The Frenchman has a buy-out clause of £35.2million and it is reported that the Gunners have agreed to meet that fee ahead of the January transfer window.
The 28-year-old has fallen out with coach Eduardo Berizzo and is apparently up for sale. He apparently had an argument at half-time of Sevilla’s Champions League clash with Liverpool, which resulted in him prematurely leaving the stadium.
He has since accused Berizzo of favouritism towards other players and he has skipped a training session too.
He flew into London earlier this month with rumours rife that he was there to discuss a move to Arsenal. He denied that at the time but if the reports coming from Spain are true, he could find himself making a permanent move to the capital city in just a few weeks.
