Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has withdrawn from the Wales squad with injury, the Evening Standard reports.
The experienced midfielder has pulled out from Chris Coleman’s squad with a knock, but there is no specification as to what type of injury Ramsey has sustained, and no indication as to how long he will be ruled out for.
This does come as a blow to Arsenal, though, who are gearing up for a huge clash on Saturday. The Gunners take on Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby, as they go in search of an important three points.
Ramsey has been in good form this season, and is a key player for Arsene Wenger, whose Arsenal side have been struck with several injuries in recent times.
It was revealed on Saturday that Olivier Giroud had also pulled out of his international duty, returning from the France squad with a thigh injury.
Wenger will hope that the duo can be available for Saturday evening’s clash.
