Swansea City are the latest side to join the race for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, according to a report from the Telegraph.

The England international has been making good progress in his quest to return to the first-team fold at Arsenal, with some good displays in the Europa League and Carabao Cup so far.

However, Wilshere’s future at the Emirates remains unclear, with a host of top flight clubs interested in securing his signature.

Although reports have suggested that Arsenal are keen to tie Wilshere down to a new and improved contract at the club, it looks as though he will not be short of potential suitors should he choose to move on in the near future.

Swansea have an abundance of midfield players but Wilshere’s addition would undoubtedly bolster their options.

They are not the only Premier League side interested, though. Both West Ham and Crystal Palace have been linked with the midfielder.
