Arsenal considering move for Silva
Arsenal are considering a move to sign Andre Silva from AC Milan next summer.
According to The Daily Star, Arsenal could replace Alexis Sanchez with Silva if the Chilean leaves at the end of the season.
Sanchez looks set to leave Arsenal before the summer transfer window next year, with his contract expiring at the end of the campaign – and he is refusing to sign a new deal.
The winger has the option to sign a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club in January, which would see him sign on a free transfer in the following window.
Or he could hold out until the end of the season before signing for an English club, with Manchester City said to be interested.
Andre Silva, meanwhile, looks set to leave big-spending Milan as they look to cut their costs.
Milan spent big in the summer, with Silva costing £35m from Porto, although he was only one of many big incoming.
The report claims that Silva would become available next summer if Milan fail to qualify for the Champions League, as they would need to raise funds for the following season.
Silva has scored six goals in ten games for Milan this season, with all six coming in the Europa League.
