Arsenal told to pay £30m for Alexis Sanchez replacement in January
Dutch side PSV have told Arsenal they must pay Hirving Lozano’s full £30 million release clause to sign him in January.
ESPN reports that the player has been linked with the Gunners, possibly as a replacement for Alexis Sanchez, but PSV do not want to sell on the cheap.
Lozano is currently in a fantastic run of form, scoring five times in his last six games in the Eredivisie, resulting in rumours about his future at the club, despite only joining in the summer from Mexican side Pachuca.
Arsenal scout Steve Rowley is said to have watched the player as the Gunners weigh up their options.
Sanchez is looking increasingly likely to leave the club, possibly in January, meaning Arsene Wenger may be forced into the market as they look for a replacement for the Chilean.
Wenger has admitted that both Sanchez and Mesut Ozil could leave during the January transfer window.
