Mesut Ozil could agree Arsenal exit in January
Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil could agree a deal to join Inter Milan in the summer as early as the January transfer window.
The Mirror, who cite TMW, claim that the German could leave with the Serie A side interested in a deal.
Ozil will be able to negotiate a summer move with foreign clubs in January, and Inter are believed to be one of the front-runners.
Inter are said to be disappointed in the performances of Joao Mario and a deal to sign the German could involve the Portuguese midfielder.
Arsenal are still hoping to tie down the former Real Madrid man to a new contract, but talks between both parties are believed to be stalling.
Both Ozil and Alexis Sanchez are coming into the final months of their current contracts, with the latter also expected to leave in the summer.
Sanchez came close to joining Manchester City this summer but Arsenal dug their heels in and refused to sell.
