Welbeck could be out for up to a month
Arsenal are reportedly concerned that Danny Welbeck could miss up to a month of action due to a groin injury.
The England international limped off during the Gunners’ goalless draw with Chelsea on Sunday afternoon, and the Telegraph have reported that he could be set for a month on the sidelines.
It’s claimed in the report that Welbeck underwent a scan on his groin on Monday to gain an early insight to the extent of his injury. However, further scans and analysis of the problem are set to take place on Tuesday as Arsene Wenger prepares to learn how long he will be without his striker for.
Welbeck enjoyed a good start to the season and has been featuring prominently for the Gunners. His injury record appears to be harming him once more, though, and he’s likely to miss England’s final World Cup 2018 qualifiers through a groin problem.
The 26-year-old has already netted three goals this season.
